Trying out a blog to focus on creativity in our everyday lives. In this blog I would like to ask you questions, find ways to put creativity into our daily lives and share ideas.
First question…What metaphors would you use to describe your life as it is right now?

Hi Susan,
Congrats on your new blog. What metaphor? Perhaps an airline pilot soaring above the clouds, trusting in only her air traffic controller to lead every mile.

Hi Susan ~
Let me think….a metaphor to describe my life right now…I would say it was like a gentle amusement ride that feels comfortable and fun, with twists and turns and I’m approaching a new and richer segment of the ride.

Love your blog… let’s see.. post thanksgiving.. lots of projects and things due.. a busy runway… in the fog…
I did a paper on an old theory of creativity called synectics.. it was kind of fun.. especially the wacky workbooks.

Susan,
Glad you have this blog. Love the mandalas
My life is deep, beautifull and a little treacherous, like walking the razor edge of the mountains in Hawaii.

No insult intended, but after a week with relatives I’d have to say my life is like a jar of mixed nuts. A really good quality jar that you just can’t seem to put down. I really do love nuts!

Circumstances & opportunities around Thanksgiving allowed me to re-learn the fact that we are all one. Expressing Love, Sorrow, Forgiveness, and Thanks reconnected me with this transformative knowledge.
Thanks for the blog and the opportunity to further connect.

Great blog! My life right now–a stoveful of pots that are threatening to boil over, but for some reason, they stay simmering and not overflowing!

Susan,
I read your blog last night and struggled with a metaphor. This morning however, I woke up and viewed my life right now is a diamond in an avalanche. Sometimes glistening, sometimes burried in the rush of falling earth.

Treasure Hunt. My life is a treasure hunt, I never know what new discoveries and adventures are around the corner, what new talents I’ll discover. One thing for sure, it is a fun and enjoyable trip.

My life until a week ago was a dinner plate full of many, many good things. so many that the plate was overflowing–too much of too many things. Then events at home forced me to remove one really delightful thing from the plate which resulted in my plate (life) being just full enough with time to taste and savor everything left. And yet I miss that one thing…….
