Zot Arts for All

http://www.zotartz.com/

Taking a moment to say “thank you” to my wonderful friends at Zot Arts for All:)

Zot Arts came to our area (upon enthusiastic request from an arts educator) to work within the schools, http://www.jpsonline.org/ , Community Based Instruction centers, http://www.oaisd.org/10952061693030623/site/default.asp , and  local arts council, http://www.hollandarts.org/.  They have since continued to “ripple” out into other areas and centers bringing true joy to children and adults.

Check out these words from the Zot Arts site:

We Believe…

The human need for creative expression is a primary need necessary for self-fulfillment and self-esteem.

Arts For All is committed to making creative expression available to individuals with disabilities. We develop services and furnish art tools to assure all individuals with different levels of independence an opportunity to fulfill their creative abilities.

Arts For All     Gives Mobility a Whole New Look

Arts For All art tools are one-of-a-kind products that offer individuals of all abilities an opportunity for creative expression through arts and mobility. Art tools are designed so participants with limited movement or lack of fine motor skills can be successful in using what mobility they have to create, paint, draw, print and more. Individuals will roll out paint and draw with chalk – all while working on mobility skills and coordination through creative expression.

I truly enjoy the Szots and their commitment to bringing the wonder of creativy to all whose lives they touch.  Take a moment to look around the Zot Arts for All site:

  2. What a cool idea!

  3. It is cool…the Zots are amazing. The tools are a riot to use…for all involved! There are murals up all over our county. The participants paint all over the paper mural, and a canvas piece is laid in the middle. When complete, the canvas is then given to the participating organization for display…as a gift. I have one hanging on the wall outside my cubby here at work:)
